Itinerary Overview
The Kedarkantha trek is a popular and moderately challenging winter trek in the Indian Himalayas, known for its stunning snow-covered landscapes and accessibility for beginners. It's located in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarakhand and is typically done from December to April. The trek is about 20 kilometers long and reaches a height of 12,500 feet (3,800 meters), starting from the village of Sankri.
Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (200 km)
Day 2: Sankri to Juda Lake (5 km)
Day 3: Juda Lake to Base Camp (2.5 km)
Day 3: Base Camp to Summit and Back to Juda Lake (10 km)
Juda Lake to Sankri (5 km) and Drive to Dehradun (200 km)
